Taurus Microsystems offers Complete Electronic Design Services. We can see your project through from concept to completion. Typical services provided include Product Design, Schematic Capture, PCB layout, Software Design, Component and Labor Sourcing, Prototype Assembly / Testing, and Production Assembly / Testing. Beyond this we continue to partner with our clients providing technical and logistical support throughout the life of the product.
All of these services combined enable Taurus Microsystems to offer a full Turnkey Design and Manufacturing service.
We can capture your design with Orcad or Protel 99. Available outputs are Orcad 7.11 (*.opj, *.dsn, *.dxf) or Protel 99 (*.ddb, *.dwg). Netlist outputs are available in nearly all common formats.
If you have a design but don't have a schematic in electronic form we can generate one for you. Just send your hand drawn schematic and bill of materials. The schematic we create can be sent to you in PDF format, as an e-mail attachment for approval prior to beginning PCB layout.
Taurus Microsystems specializes in high quality PCB design. PCB design is a part of the design process often overlooked or not given due attention. A carefully planned PCB layout is critical for preserving signal integrity and keeping manufacturing costs low. We work closely with the client to produce a PCB design that exactly matches customer requirements.
All we need is your schematic (OrCad version 7.11 or earlier, or Protel format) and / or error free netlist (in Tango format) with a bill of materials including manufacturer's part numbers for generating footprints. If no schematic is available, or if Taurus Microsystems is contracted to do the system design, the schematic can be provided to the client in either of the above formats.
PCB layouts can be designed utilizing any current device or packaging technology. PCB layout files are provided in Protel 99 format with output in RS-274X (Gerber) and / or EDIF format.
Taurus Microsystems' prototype assembly service speeds your product to market with fast, accurate, and consistent electrical and mechanical assembly. Our short run service can also handle small production runs. We can do turnkey, consignment, or whatever your needs may be.
We're a small shop so we can process smaller runs with much greater efficiency that many larger facilities. We will gladly help with builds to which larger assembly contractors turn up their noses. Our turn around times are typically less than average as well (1 to 2 weeks normally).
